Join Rotary and communities throughout Lake County for the End Polio Now Torch Relay, part of a larger Northern California effort to raise awareness and support the global fight to eradicate polio.
The End Polio Now Torch will travel through Lake County on Sunday, October 11, making three community stops throughout the day. Each stop will feature local Rotary clubs, community activities, and opportunities to learn more about Rotary’s decades-long commitment to ending polio worldwide.
Lake County Relay Schedule
10:00 AM — Xabatin Community Park, Lakeport
The relay begins in Lakeport, hosted by the Rotary Club of Lakeport. Join fellow community members as we kick off the Lake County portion of the Torch Relay with activities and a celebration of Rotary’s commitment to a polio-free world. More information can be found at LakeportRotary.org

2:00 PM — Austin Community Park, Clearlake
The final Lake County stop will take place at Austin Community Park in Clearlake, hosted by the Rotary Club of Clear Lake. Come out to celebrate the relay, learn more about the End Polio Now campaign, and help bring the Lake County journey to a close. The theme for the Clear Lake Rotary Club is Paws for Polio with a lot of activities that include our four legged friends! More information can be found at ClearLakeRotary.org
