STARS at Taylor Observatory

January 24 @ 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

The Birth, Life, and Death of Stars

Our sun is one of an estimated two hundred billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy alone. We exist in an ocean of stars, but not all stars are alike. From Brown Dwarves to Black Holes stars produce a wide array of fascinating and exotic phenomena. How do stars come into being? How do they live out their lives? What determines a star’s ultimate fate? Join us in the Taylor Observatory’s Norton Planetarium as we explore the diverse nature of Stars.

After each show (weather permitting) guests are invited to view the night sky through the Observatory’s telescopes.

Weather you’re a seasoned astronomer or just curious about the cosmos, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience. This event is open to all Lake County families. Lake County Office of Education Astronomy Expert Angelo Parisi will host this event. For more information, contact Angelo Parisi at aparisi@lakecoe.org
