Come join us at Hance Community School Room 1 on March 19, 2026, at 3:30 PM for a fun-filled event showcasing the magic of puppetry in the classroom!
Get ready to embark on an exciting journey where education, creativity, and laughter collide. This training is designed for Preschool-1st-grade teachers.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Demonstrate at least two puppet techniques (voice, movement, character building) that actively engage young learners.
Demonstrate at least two puppet techniques (voice, movement, character building) that actively engage young learners.
Design a short puppet-based activity or story that reinforces a key early learning concept (literacy, SEL, or problem-solving)
Integrate puppetry into lesson planning to support multiple learning styles and developmental needs.

Model strategies for student participation using puppets to build confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
Identify at least three classroom benefits of puppetry, including language development, social-emotional growth, and student engagement.
