The Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild Presents 24th Annual Quilt Show
The Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild will host its 24th Annual Quilt Show on Saturday,
October 4 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Sunday, October 5 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) at the
Lake County Fairgrounds. This much-anticipated event celebrates the artistry,
tradition, and creativity of quilting, drawing attendees from around the area.
This year’s featured artist is Kim Darnell, owner of Darn Cute Quilts and Fabrics in
Lakeport. Kim is known for her passion for quilting, offering open sewing days,
classes, and long-arm quilting services to the community.
Visitors will be treated to a stunning display of over 150 quilts, representing both
local talent and guest artisans. In addition, numerous out-of-area vendors will
showcase fabrics, tools, and specialty quilting products.
Highlights of the show include:
 A Country Store with handmade items perfect for gifts or keepsakes.
 Treasure Baskets, filled with an assortment of wonderful items, available
through ticket drawings.
 A Silent Auction, featuring a long-arm quilting machine, vintage quilts, and
more.
 Daily gift drawings, plus a grand door prize sewing machine, generously
donated by Village Sewing of Santa Rosa and Ukiah.
 A Raffle Quilt, where attendees can purchase tickets for a chance to win a one-
of-a-kind masterpiece.
 Live demonstrations held both days, offering learning opportunities and
inspiration.
With so many activities, prizes, and, of course, breathtaking quilts, this year’s show
promises to be one of the most exciting yet. Whether you are an experienced
quilter, a beginner, or simply a lover of fine craftsmanship, the Ladies of the Lake
Quilt Guild welcomes you to join in this celebration of creativity and community.
