🎤 Headliner: RICH CHASSLER
When Richard Chassler began his comedy career, people didn’t have cell phones, beepers were for doctors and “dealers” and Ronald Regan was still president! No newcomer to the world of Stand-Up Comedy, Richard brings many years of road touring experience to his hilarious show.

As a young comic Richard had the good fortune to open for and learn from many of the bigger acts at the time including Rita Rudner, George Wallace and he even toured regularly with Marc Price, who made his fame playing “Skippy” on the NBC hit show Family Ties. Richard was also for a time, one of the youngest headliners in the country!

Richard has toured extensively, performing in 49 out of 50 states in addition to playing abroad. He has appeared on MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central in addition to his many acting roles including Law & Order C.I., The Insider with Russell Crow and Al Pacino and more recently playing Martin Balsam in the Academy Award nominated Fox Searchlight film, HITCHCOCK. Richard most notably spent four years touring with one of his closest friends and cult comedy legend, the late Mitch Hedberg.

Richard’s show is based on his true-life experiences mixed with a healthy dose of observational humor and a WHOLE lot of truth, which he shares with his rather quirky twist. Also a trained improviser and quick wit, you never know where his show is going to go as he loves to play with the crowd and keep the audience not just laughing but also thinking just a little bit.

In addition to his stand-up, Richard is a trained actor and writer and he recently used those talents writing, directing and starring in an award winning short film entitled “STOP”. He is the author of a book, an accomplished drummer and he is currently developing and pitching television shows and films.
