Join us at the Taylor Observatory for a showing of The Hot and Energetic Universe. This planetarium documentary presents, with the use of immersive visualization and real images, the achievements of modern astronomy, the most advanced observatories, and the natural phenomenon related to High Energy Astrophysics. From our own sun to supermassive black holes High Energy Astrophysics plays a key role and understanding our universe.
After each show (weather permitting) guests are invited to view the night sky through the Observatory’s telescopes.
Weather you’re a seasoned astronomer or just curious about the cosmos, this event promises to be an unforgettable experience. This event is open to all Lake County families.
